Zeina Nazer, Senior Transportation Advisor and an Entrepreneur, has 23 years of experience in Intelligent Infrastructure Systems. “The Best Business Woman of the Year” at the 8th Middle East Businesswomen & Leaders Achievement Awards in Dubai, UAE.
Zeina specializes in design, management, and operations of intelligent infrastructure systems in the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia and the USA. She has contributed to standards development of transport systems worldwide and managed the delivery of several advisory services contracts to public sector clients related to major transport master plans.
After 7 years working in the USA with KPMG, Parsons and Aecom, in 2005 Zeina moved to London to support international projects including leading international consultancy work with Arcadis for M25 Design-Build Integral Demand Management. Zeina also provided support to financial design of the New Zealand Toll System project with Deloitte and supported Booz & Co in the PMO for Abu Dhabi DOT.
Zeina has a BSc in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut, MSc in Transportation Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and MBA from the University of Chicago. She is a Professional Engineer licensed in the USA.
Zeina founded Innova Consulting Ltd (ICL) in London in 2007, specializing in intelligent transport systems (ITS) engineering and consulting services for the public and private sectors.
In 2005 she co-founded ITS-Arab in London, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting knowledge transfer and partnership between transport professionals in the MENA region.
In 2011, Zeina and her sisters Zahira and Rima founded Jardins D’EDEN in London. Jardins D’EDEN is luxury natural body and bath products. Rima recently relocated the business to Tripoli.
Zeina was the chair of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Working Group TC204 WG1 on ITS Systems Architecture, contributing to standards development of transport systems. Zeina served as Director on the Board of Women in Transportation (WTS) in the USA.
A keynote speaker, author and presenter of over 100 papers submitted to magazines and conferences in USA, MENA, Southeast Asia, UK and Europe.
