Ignacio is President of CIAC, a Consulting Group in Corporate Image and Communication Strategy with a strong specialization in Territory Branding or ‘Place Branding’, with more than 40 years of experience in the market.
Ignacio has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and has an MBA in Commercial and Marketing Management from the Instituto de Empresa from Madrid.
He has been dedicated more than 20 years to the world of branding consulting, managing projects for important national and international enterprises such as Real Madrid C.F., Cepsa, Movistar, Orange, NH Hotels, Inter-American Development Bank; and also for a dozen of territorial brands for cities and countries in both Spain and Latin America.
After the creation of the Country Brand of Argentina in 1999, CIAC has become an important reference in City Brands and Territory Brands developing its own methodology and getting important projects. It has developed the image and communication strategy of many territories working with the Government of Spain in Zaragoza, Gijón , A Coruña, Galicia, Cádiz, Generalitat de Catalunya; with the Governments of Peru and Honduras; with the Government of Colombia in Medellín, Cartagena de Indias, Popayán; and with the government of Bolivia in Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
Ignacio is currently a renowned speaker in the field of branding and corporate communication and has participated in many forum and conferences both in Spain and Latin America.
